A Peaceful Revolution?

"For the people, by the people, off the people"  Sourc3  so in  a democracy we should be not controlled by politicians elected, but ask them to serve our interests and not their own interests.  If this does not happen then they forfeit the peoples respect and allow dissent to arise out of the populations anger and frustration which leads to direct action, mass arrests and oppression.

What does it have to do with me an ordinary woman in her late fifties, shall I just shrug and allow the abuse of power to increase, the genocidal wars, prohibitions, proscriptions or do we take a stand and say "we are the people and we won't be silenced about Palestine or any other issue which is cruel, brutal, repressive and downright authoritarianism as Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Martin Luther King and Archbishop Desmond Tutu did   We can all play our part in whatever way to defend the rights of both the natural environment and ourselves.

I will not be silenced and in a non verbal and visual way use my knitting skills to speak against this increasing repression.  Use your creative interests to voice your opposition, it can be through theatre, poetry, the arts, crafts, books, plays and folk music.  They can't imprison song birds as the songs float out beyond the prison bars and let those in power know that we, the people of this land do have a powerful voice which is a loud crescendo.
